The Denver Tech Center grew up along I-25 from the 1960s on, and the neighborhoods around it — in Centennial, Greenwood Village, unincorporated Arapahoe County and south Denver — offer some of the shortest commutes in the metro. Chelsey works out of the Compass office on South Ulster Street, at the north end of the Tech Center.

Her transactions here range from a lakefront home in Arapahoe Lake to ranches in the Knolls and Heritage Place, along with Highlands Ranch.

Housing

Much of the area was built from the 1960s through the 1980s, so ranches, split-levels and two-stories on generous lots are common, along with townhome communities near the light rail. Greenwood Village and parts of Cherry Hills Village to the west have larger custom homes; Arapahoe Lake and similar enclaves sit on private lakes. Highlands Ranch adds newer planned neighborhoods farther south.

02

Outdoors

Cherry Creek State Park borders the area to the east, with a reservoir, a marina and miles of trail. The High Line Canal Trail winds through Greenwood Village and Centennial under old cottonwoods. deKoevend Park and the Willow Creek open space serve the central neighborhoods.

03

Everyday

The Streets at SouthGlenn, Park Meadows and the restaurants around Belleview Station and the Landmark cover shopping and dining. Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village hosts summer concerts.

Getting around

I-25 and I-225 meet at the north end of the Tech Center, C-470 crosses the south end, and RTD light rail connects the area to downtown Denver and Union Station.
